Caglia di San Giusto – Serie A – Caglio di San Giovanni in Florence.
A 1-1 draw.
Fioretina scored twice, firstly a header and second a free-kick, as they pushed past an unimpressive Caglio in the opening 45 minutes.
A goalmouth scramble from Fioreto, then a fine pass by Gianluca Sbihović led to Sbahović’s third goal.
The scoreline was 3-0 at halftime and after the break, the home side went ahead after 24 minutes thanks to the late penalty kick by Marco Mazzola.
A great opportunity by Mario Pasquali, who headed the ball over the line, was saved by Stefano Tamburini.
But a minute later, Pasquami scored again as Caglea were awarded a free kick.
That allowed Andrea Pirlo to head in the rebound, which was deflected by Sbohi.
Cagliaro went on to win the game 3-1.
Pasquali had an impressive display, but the goalkeeper’s inability to stop the visitors from scoring was not enough to prevent a 3-4-1-1 formation.
Giusto and Sbabiri made it 3-5 in the second half, with Pirlos goal just missing out on the goal of the game.
Fiorentine were never able to find a way past the hosts, but were fortunate to avoid conceding an own goal in the dying minutes.
Mazzola’s men, who have only lost once this season, went on the attack again in the closing stages of the match, as Milan doubled their lead, courtesy of Pasquani’s opener.
Tamburati made it 4-0 in the 78th minute, his first goal of Serie A. Marco Mazzoli, Stefano Pasquati and Giorgio Caruso all had shots on target for Fiorenica, while Alessandro Del Piero also found the net.
This was a 3 points game, but only a draw means that Cagioli have won just once in the league this season.
Sebastian Chiellini scored twice and the other two players had assists.
