Apple juice makers are facing new pressure to disclose more details about the deadly outbreaks of coronavirus that have hit the United States.
Apple Juice’s latest recall prompted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to call for the first public disclosure of the amount of raw fruit juice contained in some batches.
Apple said Friday that it would immediately stop selling and distributing the products, saying that it had been alerted to an issue with some of its suppliers.
It was the second recall in as many weeks for the company, which had a nearly 40 percent share of the market in June.
Apple’s stock has fallen as much as 10 percent in the last week.
